Check out Fabula Rasa’s video featuring Hard as Nails, among their other enlightening stories thus far.(:
I received this comment on one of my YouTube videos, and I apologize for the obscenity, but I’d really like to take this opportunity to make a point. Although this isn’t the first comment I’ve gotten of its nature, it is definitely the worst I have seen, and includes various harsh stereotypical points often made toward feminists. This comment is exactly why we need to continue to fight for what we do. Many of you have told me you received similar hate comments against feminists, but we cannot let these bring us down. Comments like this, and the people behind the computer screens, are only making us stronger. They are giving us all the more reason to push for change; they are fuel to the fire. This is evidence that our fight is not over- so let’s raise our voices.
After much editing and many obstacles, I finally present the Hard as Nails Public Event highlight video! The individual performances/speeches can be seen on the YouTube playlist. Enjoy!(:

As promised, here is my latest video! Enjoy.(:
I’ve just finished watching, and being utterly inspired by, a remarkable TED Talk by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. You may have heard quotes from her Ted Talk sampled in Beyonce’s song, “Flawless”. I’m taking on Adichie’s definition of a Feminist, featured in Flawless:
Feminist: a person who believes in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes
– Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
P.S. Expect an upcoming video on female empowerment in the media!
